On August 26th, CPC celebrated Hip-Hop's 50th Anniversary at the annual Universal Hip-Hop Parade for Social Justice in Brooklyn. As a co-sponsoring AAPI organization, CPC came together with a diverse range of communities, including African American, Caribbean, Arab, Muslim, LatinX communities, and others, to pay tribute to Hip-Hop's core elements: deejaying, rapping, graffiti painting, and break dancing. The event kicked off with a parade from Robert Fulton Park, showcasing an array of floats, marching bands, live performances, food and drinks, exhibitions, community resources, and more.
